Inspired by original photographs taken in Havana, Cuba, this mixed-media work combines layered textures, watercolor, and digital transfer to explore architecture as a space of memory and atmosphere. Framed by dark archways, luminous fragments of historic urban space emerge through distressed surfaces and fragmented imagery, blurring the boundary between observation and recollection. The work reflects the layered history, light, and material presence of Havana through a contemporary process of erosion, reconstruction, and abstraction.
